# The greatest Place in Keno!!!!!!!Josee Bergeron 2016-10-17 23:42
My husband and I visited Keno, the weekend of Keno Gras and I promised I would leave a comment. I was delayded doing so but better late than never. Our stay at the Silvermoon Bunkhouse was fantastic. We booked the honeymoon suite, a little private cabine. No there is no toilet or washroom but this is the Yukon and plumbing costs so much at the end of the world. I thought I would be bothered by that but none at all, the shared premises were a step away from the cabin, super clean and absolutely convenient. After all when in Rome do as the romains. The owners couldn't do enough go make us feel welcome. The mining museum was fascinating and I had great joy to spend some time there with my grandson. Thank for a wonderful weekend in a truly genuine Yukon tresor. Go back in time and enjoy the scenery at the top of the mountain, simply breathtaking! Thank you for a great stay, we will be back!!!!!

I had the unique priveledge and pleasure of visiting the bunk house a couple of weeks ago.was aprehensive about going to the end of the road.WHAT WOULD THAT BE LIKE. Well it was great,it was the best part of my trip through the yukon territories. The folks at the bunkhouse were the best you can meet in your travels.that district has an extensive mining history and you can see that all around the area. Keno city has one of the best mining museums you will find anywhere. also an excellent pizza place. I definetly recommend the silvermoon bunkhouse in keno city. new clean,comfortab le warm AND no muddY boots inside. they furnish you with a pair of gators if you don't have clean shoes. GREAT PLACE. A BUCKET LIST TRIP. DO IT.you will not be disappointed.

Had a great time in Keno. Dirk and Tracy went out of their way to ensure we saw the sights. Took us on tour to mine sights and generally made us feel like we were old friends. Great out of the way destination. Accomandatioms were very clean and we'll maintained. Look forward to another trip when I can stay longer.

Things to See, Do &
                Occupy Your Senses:

This is the land of the "Midnight Sun" – That's right, the sun barely sets during the months of May, June, July and most of August. With so much to do, it's a blessing the sun so graciously provides the light to explore and play!

Here are just a few suggestions for activities that can be enjoyed in the Keno City area:

- Enjoy the numerous trails and old mining roads on Keno City area hills and hill tops and go hiking, mountain biking and ATV riding. With many km of mountain trails and old mining roads in the immediate area site seeing will be second to none. Guided tours may be available with advance notice;

- Get introduced to the fauna and flora available in this remote, pristine wilderness area (don't forget your binoculars);
